About Our Clinic

Our clinic first opened on July 1, 1989.  We were formerly known as Mississaga Street Chiropractic Clinic and changed our name to Optimum Potential Chiropractic and Nutrition in 2003.  We moved locations from Mississaga Street to Laclie Street in 2008.  We have one chiropractic available, Dr. Lawrence LaFrance, D.C., F.C.C.S. (c), ART®, a chiropractic health assistant/office manager, Melanie Pye and one massage therapist Jennifer Larsen, RMT.  We offer care for the whole family, whether you are an infant, a senior, an athlete or just want to become healthier.  We offer chiropractic adjustments, Active Release therapy, Graston soft tissue technique, therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, heat, interferential current, thumper, traction, Erchonia laser and soft laser, Kinesiotaping and activator.  Dr. LaFrance also specializes in sports injuries as well as personalized exercise consults, nutrition counselling,  custom orthotic shoes and sandals and orthotic consults and detoxification foot baths.  We were the former team chiropractors for the Orillia Kings Junior A Lacrosse and Orillia Couchiching Terriers Junior A hockey team.  We are also part of the preferred provider program at the Orillia Chamber of Commerce and Casino Rama.  Our team is always available for speaking engagements.  There are no referrals necessary and new patients are always welcome!

Rock tape is the next step in kinesiotaping.  Most people have seen kinesiotape on beach volleyball, basketball and track athletes.  It is a functional tape that assists athletes (and everyday people).  The original tape was very sticky and could be used in water, when you sweat and when you showered.  The cheaper and less sticky K-tape came along and it can be purchased in most sports stores.  Unfortunately, it usually falls off before you are done your activity.  Along came ROCK TAPE and we have better sticking and durability than the original tape at the same cost of the lesser quality tape.  PLUS, it comes in large variety of colours and patterns.  Come in and take a look.

Our annual 2020 Toy Drive was again successful.  Thank you again to everyone that contributed.
